There are many ways an individual, company, school, or foundation can get involved. We welcome volunteers to help deliver programming and special events, as well as serve on our National Board, Operating Committees and Advisory Councils. Potential donors are encouraged to contact us and explore the most impactful way to financially support programming at their comfort level. Schools interested in hosting SCORES programming should speak to their respective district or board leaders.

Programs Volunteers
Both soccer and classroom activities can enhance the experience of our program participants.
We kindly ask our program volunteers to commit to a regular schedule for at least one entire season (fall, winter, and/or spring) as it takes time to build a relationship with our kids.
When: Following the final school bell, typically from 3:00 to 4:30 pm on weekdays
No previous experience is necessary, all we need are caring adults.

Event Volunteers
Event volunteers are keys to the success of our program and fundraising events.
There many different program events provided for our participants throughout the school year (e.g. Soccer Jamborees and Poetry Slams) as well as fundraising events (e.g. SCORES Cup).
At each event there are plenty of different roles that volunteers can sign up for such as : set-up and take-down, welcoming guests, serving refreshments, refereeing youth soccer games, or running arts/crafts stations.
